This afternoon at about 3 PM I found a male Yellowheaded Blackbird
on Merritt Road in Lincoln Township. Merritt Road is between exits 57
and 64 of the QEW and runs north and south. The bird was just north
of house no. 4869 between the QEW and the shore of Lake Ontario.

Saw a Great Grey Owl on Sunday January 12, 3:30 pm. On Cedarbrook Trail,
Brooklin, Ontario. Owl was flying from low tree to low tree in a field on the

This afternoon we located a Turkey Vulture on Allison Road, Blenheim just
south of the dump. This is the 3rd time in the past 2 weeks that we have seen
a Turkey Vulture in the Blenheim area.
To get to Allison Road,take Chatham Road north out of Blenheim. Turn left just

My wife and I were out birding today and located two Snowy Owls and
a Bald Eagle.
One Snowy was east of Hyw. #21 on the 10th Conc Bruce.
The other was on Bruce Rd. #40 east of Hwy #21 across the road Ackerts's
Construction.
The Bald Eagle was on Bruce Rd. #3 north of Paisley.

The North Bay Christmas Bird Count was held on December 14th. We had 15 field
observers and four feeder watchers.
Weather was cold ranging from -19C to -24C, winds were moderate 16 km/h to 21
