Hi there,
This afternoon Owen Yates and I saw the previously reported Eurasian Tree
Sparrow in Wawa. It spent much of the late afternoon at and around the bird
feeders and yard at 2 Caverhill St. in Wawa, Algoma District, which is across
the street from the waterfront of Wawa Lake.

Black Vulture
The continuing Cattle Egret was still being seen as of 12:30 this afternoon
in the same field. It is at the NW corner of Lakeridge Rd and Hwy 2 hanging
out with the cattle.

Hello folks:
Eleven participants made a go of it amid on and off rain throughout the
day. Limited visibility across the lake made long-distance viewing
challenging. That, combined with bouts of torrential rain, contributed to a
lower-than-usual species count of 37. All the same, it was a solid
The shorebirds continue in the field on 12th Pakenham near #2409. Dunlin, BB
Plover, G Yellow legs, WR Sandy and Pectoral. Also one G Gull. a flock of 100
Pipits fighting the winds flew over.
Head north on 29 from Pakenham and turn onto 12th
Go north to fields patially flooded with geese.
I currently have a Cattle Egret in the horse paddock (house # 1503) at the west
end of Mersea Rd E just east of the entrance to Point Pelee NP. Point Pelee
Drive is currently closed due to construction so Mersea Rd E is the only road
to get access to this location right now.
