The bird has been refound in the same general area it has been all
afternoon.
It is about 100 meters away and 2 meters above the water.
The Wardens caught up to the boaters.
Turns out it wasn't a call. They reversed their small outboard to clear
weeds from the propeller. The high revs spooked the
At 5.30 two idiots in a fishing boat played a call over and over and the
bird spooked and flew into a walnut tree near the path/old dock to the bay.
It hasn't been seen since, but it may have move to the feeding area on
Marsh trail south of the last cottage.

Hello all,
At 5:05 I just had 3 Common Night Hawks fly SW over our home on Kyle court
Frankford Ontario ( Quinte West).
Frankford is roughly 10 km north of Trenton Ontario along the Trent River
and canal.

It is feeding along the shore much closer than earlier in the day.
Go through the red gate at the start of the Marsh Trail, and walk directly
west to the bay (30m from the gate). Step over/around the dilapidated dock,
onto the mud and look to

Hello,
The Reddish Egret is still present. Entering Oliphant via Oliphant Way, turn
right onto Shoreline Avenue. The bird has been in several locations around the
bay.

This morning, Friday, September 14, a juvenile Little Blue Heron was
observed on the Grand River at the confluence of the Grand and Speed
rivers from
8:04 a.m. to 8:11 a.m. Bird was scoped by Bill Wilson and photographed by
B. Wilson, B. Johnson and D. Thomas from the benches along the trail;
Dan MacNeal posted an eBird list by Bill Wilson to the ORBA group on Facebook
with a juvenile Little Blue Heron at the Grand and Speed River confluence, and
I didn't see it posted here. Seen this morning, haven't heard of it being
refound as of yet. Here's the list, hopefully some more people

Crowell. She found it about 85m along the trail on the right hand side near its
usual roosting spot. This is directly across from the gray cottage with
