Festival of Flight May 4th Afternoon Report
Things have picked up as the day has progressed with some new exciting
sightings. Prothonotary Warblers have arrived at Bennet Road, Pony Barn, and
Tulip Tree Trail. Also on Tulip Tree, a Hooded Warbler has been showing well
along with a few other
Hello birders:
The adult Laughing Gull that was present yesterday was at the sand beach
all morning. It was first at Beach 1 and later at Beach 3 roosting among
Ring-billed and Bonaparte's Gulls.
An adult Little Gull roosted beside the Laughing Gull and 3 Bonaparte's at
Beach 3 in late morning
Least Bittern in the pond off the boardwalk in Riverside park, Cambridge.

Birding was excellent this morning with many expected warblers and other
migrants low down giving wonderful views, including SCARLET TANAGERS and a
RED-HEADED WOODPECKER. HOODED, WILSON'S, and BLUE-WINGED WARBLER were at the
tip, and GRAY-CHEEKED THRUSH was at the tram stop. A LOUISIANA
Rondeau Festival of Flight May 4th Morning Report
A slow morning here in Rondeau with little migration action last night. A
Golden-winged Warbler continues to show well at the Pony Barn along with a
couple of Blue-winged Warblers and Chestnut-sided Warblers. A Hooded Warbler
made a brief
I’ve got a White-winged Dove at Point Pelee. It’s in a tree right where the
tram drops people off at the tip.
