Over the past few days, a swath of open water on Lake Scugog off Scugog Point has widened until it is now about 10 acres of open water. It didn't take long for the geese and ducks to appear. Today there are over 3,000 Canada geese, and in fairly good numbers, Common Mergansers, Hooded Mergansers,
