The bird was showing well at 5.50pm near the beginning of Marsh Trail in
the pond across from the cottages.

The bird was ween this morning and again at about 4 pm.
Last seen about 200 yards from beginning of Marsh trail in the pond across
from the cottages.

The bird was showing well, down low, in the pond at the beginning of Marsh
Trail at 2.40pm.
Take the exit 101 off the 401 and follow signs to park. The bird is
currently about 200 metres up the trail.

The bird was seen between 2.50 and 3.10 at the beginning of Marsh Trail in
the pond on the right side of the trail.
It was down low and showing fairly well.

The was seen at 3.10 at the beginning of the Marsh Trail. From the parking
lot walk straight to the bay and look right.
It is feeding on the weed mat and flying back to the root balls on the
shore.

The bird has been refound in the same general area it has been all
afternoon.
It is about 100 meters away and 2 meters above the water.
The Wardens caught up to the boaters.
Turns out it wasn't a call. They reversed their small outboard to clear
weeds from the propeller. The high revs spooked the
At 5.30 two idiots in a fishing boat played a call over and over and the
bird spooked and flew into a walnut tree near the path/old dock to the bay.
It hasn't been seen since, but it may have move to the feeding area on
Marsh trail south of the last cottage.

The white pelican was still there this morning.
It was on a mound in McGeachy Pond Conservation Area.
It flew at 10.45 from the pond out to the lake and was last seen moving
west.
McGeachy Pond is just before you enter Erieau, Ontario.
The highway 40 exit from the 401 is still closed. Exit at
First of year junco showed up today, near the Visitors Centre.

A variety of birds are being seen, but in small numbers.
Yellow-breasted chat was found at the end of maintenance trail - follow the
footpath as far as you can go.
Clay coloured sparrow was seen at the north end of the campground and the
brush pile/ compost pile at the entrance to the Log Pond
Redheaded woodpecker near visitor centre. Same day as last year.

There is a flock of 120+ whimbrel on the west end of the south beach across
from Erieau. We saw them from the boat but they should be visible from the
Erieau side of the channel.
Take exit for Hwy 40 to Blenheim. At the traffic light turn right, go
