Question: how secure is the data held for the Clipboard and Shelf? Is the
data encrypted? Where is the data located, on the hard disk, I assume?

There is a known problem with the latest Google Chrome plugin. We have
since removed the latest version and reverted to a more stable version of
the plugin.
Could you please try going to ~/Library/Application
Support/Quicksilver/PlugIns and removing the 'Google Chrome Quicksilver
Plugin'

I've attached a text file with yesterday's Console log vis a vis
Quicksilver. Removing the iTunes plugin allowed QS to start only after I
had rebooted the system, and since then it has worked without a glitch.

Thanks, Rob, for the quick response. Neither options (which I get should
produce the same result) worked, unfortunately. Again, the crash seems to
occur while QS is refreshing (rebuilding? re-scanning?) the catalogue
(rotating arrow cursor in the lower right part of the frame). I'm putting
this to
QS 1.0.0 (4000), Mac OS X 10.6.8
First pane: any folder.
Second pane: 'Open'
Invoke: Nothing Happens ! :-D
Any ideas? I think this is only since I loaded version 4000.

I've set a trigger to invoke Empty Trash / Run. It works fine, but I
wonder, given that I have set manual trash emptying to Empty Securely,
whether the script will also do that. If not, is there away to empty the
trash securely using quicksilver? Thank you.

seems output from the catalogue scan process. Never had this in all the

Yes to clipboard module not working well. Can not paste from it via the
window that slides out from the edge--I forget what to call that. This
misbehavior just since the Mojave upgrade.

Just a note to add my appreciation for Nostromo, which I hadn't know
existed until these posts. Plus the reference to a certain film adds flavor.

Is there a way to show the clipboard by default, but not the shelf? I can't
find a way to do this though I remember it being possible at one time, I

Previous to the recent download and installation, I had a trigger for
shutting down that relied on a qs script that the trigger called. That
script seems to have disappeared, and the shutdown trigger no longer works.
Any hint as to what may have happened?

I'm using the latest *2.0.0 (4027) *version of Quicksilver. Among other
things, like repeated failures to load, I get notifications from Qs that I
have to allow integration with 1Password. I assume this has to do with the
1P plugin, which was upgraded in the latest download. As Aways there are a
shboard, with the same result as I've described: download hang; QS
inaccessible. I understand the possibility of operator error here, and
thank you in advance for assistance . . .
