If it has an operating system on it already, in older operating systems,
hitting windows key + U will start utility manager/narrator to help you get
started, but in, for example, windows 7, I hit windows key + U, wait a short
while, and then hit alt + N to start narrator.
This isn't perfect,
Thank you very much for the link. I'll give the player a try.
Thanks again,
Ken

Hi all,
As the site is structured in an unusual way, i.e., virtual cursor does
not work at all on this site, I can put it on Dropbox for anyone
interested. It looks to be free so unless I stand corrected and you guys
want it I will do it.
Many thanks.

Hi all,
How do I download Windows Media Player 12? I have XP and Vista which I
install inside virtual machines. So if I can install Media Player 12
onto them that would be great. I use Windows 7 as host and it comes with
Media Player 12 anyway.
Many thanks.

Hi all,
I encourage you to join two Windows 7 related lists. The first is the
main one and the second is one set up by a list member on the main one.
Confusing I know but there you go.
1. blindwindows7-subscr...@yahoogroups.com will get you onto the main
Windows 7 list.
2.
Hi Rosemarie,
You can try this yes. But you can safely ignore this registered handler.
I will put a ticket on the NVDA website actually so this doesn't get
announced.

It is payful.
When you would like, use avira or avast.
They are free virus removers.
They are very good.

Hi, Jim. I had to try it a couple of times before I did all the steps
correctly, but I finally did get it to burn a CD. That first step, not
knowing how to get the songs to the drive, was the sticking point. But
using the send to option did the trick.
Thanks,

Yes, I did send that link to my DropBox copy of a old version of VLC Player
which was more accessible. Someone else indicated that the newest version
is also accessible again. I downloaded it last night and will give it a try

Ok this windows 7 is too new for me. I wanted to make a change to the resource
section of my web page. With my old xp system I would locate the file on the c:
drive then under file drop down to edit and it brought the file up in notepad.
Then save and enter and I could see how it would look.
