Well I visited the closest seaport, I already bought a fishing pole at some 
point, and I still have the same instruction find a Seaport  and visit the 
gateway, if anyone has a hint as to how to solve this one I appreciate it.

Ah, yeah I’m beginning to understand the predicament now.   Have you checked 
the quest log? It may reveal the current status of the quest and what you’re 
expected to do next. Reading the tale (not the journal) of Titus Adrianus might 
help. You might also try Selling the key and then going to the mausoleum again.

Thank you so much for your help so far with this game.  It is fantastic.
I'm 
having another problem, this time with the troll quest.

spoiler warning!
I think I might have broken one of the quests.  
I've got the journal of titus adrianus, I obtained it quite early in the game before meeting mathius the ranger.  I was listening to a playthrough of the game, and they talk about the troll den in the mines.
I entered the sewers and then entered the mine and made my way to the troll den, but there's 
not much that can be found there.  The troll quest 
hasn't appeared in my list of quests.  I've got mathias and Gwen adrianus as my 
two companions.


Is there anything i can do to enable the troll quest and solve titus' poem?

You can sell them in small bits, it doesn't have to be sold all at 
once.  Just use your normal warehouse, and keep emptying it when it's 
full.  Eventually, you'll get the required amounts.  I just did one of 
those today where I needed to sell 610 ore and 360 crystals.  I only had 
single warehouses each holding 100 items each.  Just waited until the 
warehouse was full, sold the content, then waited some more.


Now, you need to be careful, because there are some completion 
requirements that are not related to your warehouses, instead, they want 
you to sell the material from the trade port.  It sounds like yours is 
one of those.  I've never seen one with 35,000 sales that wasn't part of 
the tradeport.


Incidentally though, tradeport sales do not count when you're doing 
normal completions that require selling of a particular number of a 
particular item.  Unless it specifically says tradeport, you can't use 
the tradeport to sell large amounts all at once.

I need some help with this game. I am playing on Alexa but it is the 
same of the mobile app.
What is the voice command to start a new game? What is the voice 
command for digging up the potion for the soft part of the ground where 
the potion maker is at?
This is the first place you can visit after you leave the ship. What is 
the voice command to enter the house at night to get the note?

It's been a while since I played this game. I don't remember the commands.
I even read the walkthrough but it was no help.
Because it does not tell you the commands.

[blind-gamers] closets in nethack

For those that have played nethack for a little while, nymphs tend to be
light-fingered with items and leprachauns are light-fingered with your
zorkmids.  For that reason closets can be useful places to stash your
stuff while on a level since if you don't have it it can't be stolen.
Closets can also be useful if you have lots of heavy items since
lightening your load can make you more effective in the battles.  Once a
level is cleared, then retrieve your stuff from the closet and take it
down to the next level.  Even better if you know the location of the
closet on that next level since that way you can repeat the process.
Closets can be elevators but only under very specific circumstances low
level players aren't likely to encounter.  Oh, remember after dumping your
stuff in a closet to close the door behind you andnote those screen
coordinates since you can use those coordinates to guide you back to your
stuff.

Ah, yeah I’m beginning to understand the predicament now.   Have you checked 
the quest log? It may reveal the current status of the quest and what you’re 
expected to do next. Reading the tale (not the journal) of Titus Adrianus might 
help. You might also try Selling the key and then going to the mausoleum again.

Did you try to  go through the door while Gwen is in your party?

Since you don’t have the key yet, it will trigger Gwen to comment on the matter, mentioning the journal.

Yes, I did.
I went to the adrianus mausoleum, walked around for a bit and read the journal, 
but nothing happened.

I do write in English, however, I replied above the actual message, so what you

Hi, for some reason this reply to the original post is in a foreign language 
and I am unable to read it, any help? Anyone else have this problem? I hear 
reading, but it’s clearly not in English, just checking to see if anyone else 
is experiencing this problem.

Hi Chris and everyone
Thank you so much for your help so far with this game.  It is fantastic.
I'm 
having another problem, this time with the troll quest.

spoiler warning!
I think I might have broken one of the quests.  
I've got the journal of titus adrianus, I obtained it quite early in the game before meeting mathius the ranger.  I was listening to a playthrough of the game, and they talk about the troll den in the mines.
I entered the sewers and then entered the mine and made my way to the troll den, but there's 
not much that can be found there.  The troll quest 
hasn't appeared in my list of quests.  I've got mathias and Gwen adrianus as my 
two companions.


Is there anything i can do to enable the troll quest and solve titus' poem?
