I hear that from Janet each and every day! Don't know why I have to suffer
the same abuse here!
Actually though, those punches are very good value as have been everything I
have purchased there except for the 2 inch dust collection network. That
wasn't worth while although there wasn't really a
Bill,
I figured that out after I replied. I first thought that you were referring
to the case a few years ago where some parts of metal from a saw blade at a
meat packing house ended up in some meat on the store shelves.

Bad influence is right. I ordered the set of punches. I didn't see the
three spring loaded punches. I did order the pocket hole jig and drills.
Also cost me about a hundred.

There is a specification in the ADA rules that says there should be levels
every so many feet to allow for a manual wheelchair user to rest. I don't
remember the number of feet between rests.

Hi Tom,
I don't have any experience with a band saw but I do know that there are
duplicators. I have no idea how they work
I have given this some thought in the past, the trouble I see with a
pantograph like system is that when running something through a band saw you
can't just change directi
I've always thought you'd need a guide that would 'surround" the blade just
above the work so you could follow a scribed line or other pattern
on the work with the leading edge of the guide.
However how such a guide would be made to stay close enough to the blade
without getting cut, and close eno
There is a lot of information here. Unfortunately it is very disappointing
that there is not one single piece of information as to how a blind person can
use a band saw. I was hoping for some tips, tricks, and techniques for a blind
person safely and accurately using one of these saws.

Hi Everyone
All About Band Saws
Although a band saw is rarely the first stationary power tool purchased
for a shop, it is one of the most versatile. A band saw can be used to
cut curves,
even in thick lumber, as in creating cabriole legs, ripping lumber and
even crosscutting short pieces. The most

That was supposed to be a joke about different meats having a lot of iron!

No, It was a dessert sauce. The container was definately a recycled
container. Karen could see the arcs jumping all around the top edge of it..
She quickly got it out before any harm was done.
I now know what to listen for and will immediately stop the oven.

Lenny,
It may be that if you were heating up some sort of meat; beef, pork,
chicken, etc that may cause the arcing as well. You know, those foods are
full of iron!

Hi Everyone
Instant troubleshooting chart - most common problems and possible causes
The following chart lists a variety of common problems and nearly all possible
causes. Diagnostic procedures will then be needed to determine which actually
apply. The 'possible causes' are listed in *approximate*
If you put in turns you need a 48 inch square turning platform, although I
don't know how it works if you actually curve the ramp, there is one at my
usual "bart" (train) station that is constant slope at ADA grade
but is curved so it looks like a kind of #2. I can only assume
it is ADA compliant
Hi All,
We just had a problem with the microwave arcing. Karen placed a plastic
container and it was arcing all around the top. I called GE center to get more
information about that problem.
We were told that some recycled materials may have very small pieces of metal
causing the problem. Also s
OK, so I saw Dale's message about the set of punches he ordered from Lee

Well, I got the set of transfer punches, the set of three spring loaded
punches, and three rather similar products, an aluminum bevel, a bevel
setter, an

The 1 foot per inch ratio is so gradual on this ramp that you can't even hardly
tell that it slop
