The only thing I can add is that refilling is done through the expansion
tank. Most GM radiators don't have caps any longer. It's pretty pricey to buy
the stuff to fill

had to install a T in one of the heater hoses, I do not recall which one.

well found a petcot located on the side of the radiator
nothing like what i remember a petcot looking like
it was a plug that was removed via a alan wrench

This is probably a better question for Bob but here is my two cents worth
from the corner.
The only way that you can drain that system is by removing the lower
radiator hose and stand by for the inevitable shower. There should be some
kind of a filler type cap or fitting on the top of the
