called a cool touch oven rack guard and it prevents burns to the forearms
to 500˚ F.

try your Walmart or Kmart for ovglove, they're kevlar (spelling)

to use a double spatchla instead. No fire risk that way. Even Consumer
Reports advises not to use mitts or gloves.
