You need to uninstall the PKGs first before you can unlink them.

I setup the new 5209R and assigned same hostname and IP address as the
old 5106R now shutdown, but when I go to the GUI I receive 404 page not
found. I am running cmuImport now.

The problem is probably that you are trying to access the GUI at an URL
that is no longer supported.

I only receive the 404 when accessing by domain name, the GUI comes up
fine using the IP

/login.php.
