I changed the temp controller
I try to insulate the wire with some tubing and still have the same
problem. The wire is broken in 2 parts and seems like a have to change
it. I already have a new one and a controller. How difficult is to
change the probe? Any precautions or instructions? Where can I get
the thermal compound?

Hi Ira,
Thank you for your quick response. I checked the black wire and
actually it's cracked right in the border on the top of the boiler.
How can I fixed that? Should I just pull the wire and tape it? I tried
to pull the wire and feel some resistant. If I pull it out how can I
reattached?
The sensor is located in the thermowell and the thermal compound
probably has hardened.
Wait for Ira's response but you should probably just tape with heat
resistant electrical tape.
