I try to insulate the wire with some tubing and still have the same problem. The wire is broken in 2 parts and seems like a have to change it. I already have a new one and a controller. How difficult is to change the probe? Any precautions or instructions? Where can I get the thermal compound?

Hi Ira, Thank you for your quick response. I checked the black wire and actually it's cracked right in the border on the top of the boiler. How can I fixed that? Should I just pull the wire and tape it? I tried to pull the wire and feel some resistant. If I pull it out how can I reattached?

The sensor is located in the thermowell and the thermal compound probably has hardened. Wait for Ira's response but you should probably just tape with heat resistant electrical tape. On May 19, 9:36 am, Fred festr...@gmail.com wrote: Hi Ira, Thank you for your quick response. I checked the
