    Can you explain more precisely what you are doing?  Take Debian for example, the default console when the GUI is running is #7.  If you press control-alt-f3 for example you would go to #3 which should be a text console.  Are you saying nothing is read by BRLTTY? On 8/27/2023 8:45 AM,

Hello BRLTTY Developers, I am still having an issue with the braille keyboard when I do a clean install of the latest images of Debian 12, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, and 23.04. BUT if I install a slightly older image of Ubuntu MATE 22.04 LTS I have keyboard input. I have also installed the latest
