Different amd cpu, but still failed completely on current from a few
days ago.

FWIW, I have a powered USB3 hub that let's everything work through my
USB 3 port. Otherwise several things won't work except through the USB 2

I have a powered hub due to using a hard drive and WiFi.

The laptop is running an old 6.3 USB I keep around for connecting to a
Java KVM (haven't needed, but I keep it anyway).
I'm just mounting relevant partitions from main hard drive also.

g hardware problem.
I have full access to the hard drive, is there anything else useful I
can pull off of it before trying a newer snapshot?
I also moved the swap file to different disk sectors. No help.
disable amdgpu also didn't help.
Here is the dmesg. I will also give another go at a newer snaps
it.

it was due to being a POC.
Had a very short lifetime. I'm using a second one. It's very picky about how I
connect it over USB.
Some connections work, others don't.
Still think it's a F@$%ng POC, but a fix would be welcome.
