I am also getting the same problem with 6.3 amd64 with urtwn chip on
USB. Is that also fixed?

FWIW, I have a powered USB3 hub that let's everything work through my
USB 3 port. Otherwise several things won't work except through the USB 2
port. (USB 2 devices)
I have a powered hub due to using a hard drive and WiFi.
Just thought it worth mentioning on this topic.

e (I
think) for the problem.
I can re-run the latest -current in a few days, but I doubt that it will
help. Running with disable amdgpu works for 6.6. This problem is after
adjusting sysctl.conf for allowaperture=2 and with the amdgpu firmware.
Which is why he booted off of a USB drive at my suggestion
helps. Rebooting is a PITA, but sometimes necessary.
Good luck,
Chris Bennett
erture=2 in sysctl.conf, also.
Different amd cpu, but still failed completely on current from a few
days ago.
Stuck on 6.6 stable. :-{

Someone else will be able to answer this for sure, but most i386 work
better running amd64. All of my servers do.

d restoring the backup into it.

was due to being a POC.
Had a very short lifetime. I'm using a second one. It's very picky about how I
connect it over USB.
Some connections work, others don't.
Still think it's a F@$%ng POC, but a fix would be welcome.

I have full access to the hard drive, is there anything else useful I
can pull off of it before trying a newer snapshot?
I also moved the swap file to different disk sectors. No help.
disable amdgpu also didn't help.
Here is the dmesg. I will also give another go a
up. I went ahead and
put latest -current on servers without any problems, so I'm back to
work.
The laptop is running an old 6.3 USB I keep around for connecting to a
Java KVM (haven't needed, but I keep it anyway).
I'm just mounting relevant partitions from main hard drive also.

Nope, didn't change anything.
Chr
me to help. If someone wants
to help. If this matters to you, you may be the only person who can fix
this problem. That would be the best help possible for OpenBSD.
Be the superhero yourself. Why not? Seriously, why not?

try boot -c
disable amdgpu
If that works,
add to /etc/rc.shutdown:
printf 'disable amdgpu\nq\n' | config -ef /bsd
sha256 /bsd >/var/db/kernel.SHA256
Mine died out at 6.6 like this.
Good luck,
