I heard wind can generate static charges on my antenna that can damage my
radio. I haven't grounded my station yet. Is this a big concern or is it
minor? Also, are there precautions to help prevent this before I get my
station grounded?
Thank You

Here is a link for the files to upload to your radio. There are files for
many different radios.

anyone in the club know what that is?

I think the fatal error is caused by the split setting not being set. The
rig control error is probably caused by wrong settings or bad
cable/connections. Make sure to check the data and stop bits on the radio,
in the device manager on the computer, and in WSJT.
Hope you can get it going soon
Jimmy helped me set it up. I use a wire dipole on my fence

I got recommended Hermes lite 2 as my new radio. I want to operate on SSB
voice as well as digital. Are 5 watts of power enough to work the world or
should I buy an amplifier? If I should get an amplifier which one should I
get?
Thank You

Hello this is Alex and I have a question about the balloon launch event. Do
you go to the event or do you just receive the signal?
Thank You,
Alex
