I have lived here all my life, over 80 years, have been a ham over 50 years. I
have had one lightning strike whenI had a 25' tower, it hit my printer which
was fixable. My current antenna is a wire antenna attached to the house,I only
connect the antenna when I want to get on the air.

Several years ago I modified a Plantronics CS50 with a BH50 1459 sticker on the
bottom. It workedvery well except you had to be careful because the vox had to
be on.Range was good, worked to my work shop in garage. You have to wear the
