Rob, Radio Shack and others have some very good quality compact TV antennas that will fit the bill. They have one that looks like rabbit ears on a Vicks cough drop for indoor use. There are out door versions also that you could use that provide some gain also. 73 de Scott KD5FBA Scott Medbury ARRL AMSAT #33657 B-VARC (Brazos Valley Amateur Radio Club) 10-10 International #77047 Scott Medbury 16802 Aprilmont Drive Sugar Land, TX 77498-1941 USA From: BVARC [mailto:bvarc-boun...@bvarc.org] On Behalf Of McClure, Rob K via BVARC Sent: Friday, October 03, 2014 5:20 PM To: BVARC (bvarc@bvarc.org) Subject: [BVARC] Recommendation for TV antenna? Hello all, I¹ve decided to NOT allow Comcast to have my TV business so I think what I¹ll do is try a TV antenna on a short tripod out on my balcony when I want to watch football games. Can anyone recommend a good TV antenna that will work from Jersey Village to where I presume all the transmitting towers are for the big three, down in Stafford? 73, Rob, KC5RET ~ This email message is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information of Cameron and its Operating Divisions.
