Good reasoning, first editions of any product often full of bugs..
How many versions of Windows 8 are there..? Seems MS released a second
version less than a year after first introduced..
Personally, I'm quite satisfied with Windows 7, all my software (Except
for Eudora Pro e-mail client),

When I upgraded my laptop from Windows 8.1 to 10 I had issues with the
sound drivers for my SoundBlaster Recon3Di. The drivers loaded and seem to
work, but I didn't have control over which Mic was active. So when I used
my Rigblaster Advantage USB audio, I was not able to use the right
Success! When I came home today after work, Win10 had got past the “Getting
Updates” and was at “Welcome to Windows 10”! It still took a long time to
completely finish installing, but it is loaded and running! Now I have to
reload a few programs, and USB devices, but looks like I’m good to go.
