Re: [Callers] Dance title?

2013-03-11 Thread Linda Leslie

Yes, the dance the Paul has shared is by Robert Cromartie.
I often will change the A1 of a Becket dance from circle left 3/4
pass thru, new N swing
TO (at the end of the B2 P swing) Look on the left diagonal and find
the next Ns, Circle L 3/4, N swing
I find the circle and pass thru to take more than 8 beats usually,
which makes for a very short N swing; so the variation means the N
swing is a bit longer. Of course, for some situations, such as this
dance, perhaps less time swinging is preferable.

Caveat:

With the partner balance in A2, this puts the ladies back-to-back.  The hey in
B1 starts with passing your partner by the right.

Michael and All:

It is called Treasure of the Sierra Madre by James Hutson of Southern
California, and it's a good one.

The B1 I got from Dale is:

B1: Corners Cross (Gents, then Ladies)
 Circle Left (1x)

I like the other two mentioned.
