The neatest thing I ever saw (and I really regret not buying one) was the Galvin 6x9 view. It used a "bail" type lever and a set of really long springs on the ground glass back. When you pulled the bail you could lift away the focusing panel assembly far enough (almost 3 inches!) to insert a
