Does the file /home/nfs/roach2/current/lib/modules/3.7.0-rc2+/modules.dep exist
on the 192.168.40.1 machine? How many files match

We also faced the same problem when we were setting everything up
initially. As Dave said, creating an empty file named module.dep in the
directory: /lib/modules/3.7.0-rc2+, the error prompt will go away.
