At dusk about 40 Tundra Swans were settled in for the night west of the
lighthouse jetty at the south end of Cayuga. Earlier a small family came to
shore with the young one, feeding with Ring-necked Ducks and a small group of
Redheads and Canvasbacks:

At 5:11 this evening, there was a Peregrine Falcon circling over the Cornell
Law School, much to the dismay of a flock of panicked starlings below.

I just started getting e-mails today. Yesterday, I saw a flock of ten
Snow Geese fly over Lansing. I was eating lunch in my car today
and a Raven flew over. A crow was chasing him. I got out of
my car, and heard him cawing. He landed briefly on a telephone
pole, and then flew off.

Beloved SCREECHIE was sunning in the Factory ST. pond box today. Joining in
enjoying the sun were gadwall, redheads, Canadas & many mallards. On Mill pond
along Rte. 90 were a couple A. wigeon, & the same mix as on Factory pond but in
larger numbers, as well as 1 male & 5 or 6 buffleheads.

marina. There were 6 Canvasbacks just off Ladoga as well, which flew
farther out into
