I helped out with a waterfowl count at Montezuma today and birded around the

I think my 33+ COMMON REDPOLLS may have left the Lansing area. I have not seen
them for two days, after feeding them Nyjer seed all winter.

Thursday night there was a EURASIAN WIGEON in the far impoundment as viewed
from the front pond overlook. Many American Wigeon too, plus lots of
Ring-billed Gulls.
Lots of ducks continue throughout the Northern Montezuma Wetlands Complex.
