What a collection this am. A Pileated, Bluebirds, and a Brown Creeper, all

Hi, I have a new suet dispenser with holes through metal for reaching the
suet cake that are 6mm wide. Is that too small for a Pileated to use? Can

Concerning Donna's email about the chicken, I live near Conn Hill..lots of
woods out here, and have seen that people will just dump chickens they
don't want for some reason or other. If a chicken lover goes to get them,
the abandoned chicken can avoid feeding foxes and coyotes etc..Laurie

I saw a Brown Creeper singing today..on Connecticut Hill Road. The song
didn't seem (sounded like it was coming from
another direction )to be coming from the bird I was watching but finally I
saw his beak moving as I heard the song. It hardly stopped foraging to

at building 7 at Gas Light Village apts on Uptown Road, Lansing ( I think)
an injured large bird (GBH)..I was told by the person who called me the lab
of O was called but the person who can come can't come til after work..the
bird has been observed for 6 hours now, injured wing, orange cones
