As I finished loading the car yesterday and took a last look at my beloved
farm, the Mecklenburg raven circled low over the yard and croaked goodbye. I

from about 5 pm to 715 pm.
The weather was perfect, light breeze, no bugs, and comfortable temperatures.

Knox-Marsellus is still the hot place to go, but Tschache Pool had some nice
views (Eagles, Osprey, Willow Flycatcher family, etc.) The Am White Pelican is
still around the east end of the first pond. A few (3 or 4) Phalaropes
(Red-necked?) are also towards the NW corner in the little "inlets".
