I have had only a couple male RED WINGED BLACKBIRDS feeding on the ground in front yard, until early this morning when a blizzard of blackbirds landed out back under the feeders there. The feeders needed filling, so I ran out and scattered new seed on the ground and filled the hanging feeders.
