If this is a cme-ccm call; also register ccm to the ios xcoder that you have
configured and assign them to MRGL and then to the Device Pool of the phones in
ccm.

It appear to be xcoder issue; setup an hardware xcoder to the 6608 or an ios
xcoder to any of the routers and assign the MRGL to ur device pool.

Use a translation pattern on the CCM; combine that with a partition if you want
this gateway to only have access to the pattern, then add to the MGCP CSS.

plus, you can build a whole RS lab topology on a single good server
platform or on your laptop, using dynamips, etc.you literally do not
neccesary have to buy a single router or switch.
Though, in addition to dynamips, it is advisable to get some online rack
time.

Service-Engine interface.
In summary, it appears that the concensore is that:
1. Use policy-map/service policy outbound for all remotely generated
traffic.
2. Use ip local policy route-map for all locally generated traffic.
Is that about right?

The other place is the WAN interface but that is only if the traffic exits
the CME router. So I will still mark it on the service-engine module
interface.
I meant to say, 'outbound' in the first email.
