hi guys,
I am trying to check the media capabilities( of the gateway) and ringing events
( callmanger) in mgcp debugs .
Questions:
1) In the 200 ok I don't see any media cap . I only see it in MDCX (this is a
callmanger message). No where else is the media cap see . Am I checking the
right
Thanks Kevin.
First thing I tried, was unchecking Wait for far side TCS on the trunk
and resetting the trunk. After that, the caller gets fast busy immediately
after 3001 picks up.
I'll check the h245 traces on the CUCM to see what's going there. But the
call completes successfully without CUBE,
Hi all,
I was in Bruessels yesterday and I failed. I was suprised about my score
report and about the amount of section were lost points. I only know one
definitly mistake, about the other things I could only suppose.
It seems that I am just to stupid to read the questions. I was finished

Hey Steffen,
Sorry to hear about your unsuccessful attempt. First things first, you
didn't fail bro, you just didn't pass this time and believe me
exchanging the word unsuccessful for failed makes a huge difference in
a persons psyche. Anyway, like you I have had (2) attempts that
Oh yeah I forgot to answer one of the questions. Yes I have changed my
strategy since my previous (2) attempts.
Here is what I am practicing:
After infrastructure is configured and working, go ahead and get QoS
out of the way. No need to have that ugly monster bite me in my ass

Ok seriously, my last post, I promise, maybe. I took the liberty of
reaching out to a friend of mine at IPexpert to see if he can help
you. Call IPexpert and ask for Phillip. Tell him that Deluxe sent you.
Long story about the name so don't ask.
Amp out!

I believe that Cube never initiates tcs on its call leg with ccm by design
(as its the middle man) and only responds to tcs. If ccm waits for far end
tcs, then media connect will timeout. So if you have it checked in CUCM and
no one ever responds, it just waits. This is shown in the trace on CUCM
Hi,
I am doing AAR, Lab 6 Volume 1, but I just can't get it to work correctly. The
following is my programming task list and what I witnessed:
Call flow = HQ Phone 2 x5002 calls BR1 Phone 2 x1002
1. Enabled AAR globally in service parameters
2. Created my AAR-PT and AAR-CSS

So you can see the call go out the pstn at HQ and arrive at SB but you get busy?
What is the error or reason for busy?
Normally, I do not put anything but aar pt in aar CSS. I the assign the aar
CSS to the device level. I assign the aar group to the line level. On the
target I set the aar
Hi All,
Reporting back.
I had 2 issues in the configuration. As Bill and Kevin indicated, both CUBE
and CUCM were waiting to receive TCS from remote side first (not
configurable in CUBE, Wait for Far End H.245 Terminal Capability Set
checkbox in the H323 trunk configuration in CUCM). When I

Have you checked that the BR router is in the same location as the BR
