If you configure Mobile Voice Access on a router that is a an MGCP gw, obviously you need to also config an H323 gw for MVA (which includes a dial-peer to reach MVA), but do you need dial-peers to reach numbers you call through MVA. So if I dial my MVA number, enter my remote destination and pin and then press 1 to make a call ... Does that call go out of the MGCp gw or will it go out of the h323 gw and require additional dial-peers? [OSL | CCIE_Voice] MVA Calling name
Hi All, I cant get my MVA calling name working i.e when I call in from my Remote number into MVA make a call to an internal DN, during alerting connect status I only see the 4digit calling number not the name set on the DN. On the Remote Destination Profile, Iv configured the name checked the Propagate selected for the shared line. is there something I am missing or any service parameter that needs to be changed to see the name? [OSL | CCIE_Voice] AAR for UCCX
Hello, I have been making a test and find out the following issue: So, I set the AAR Mask to CTI Route Points Line Settings, and the calls from Branch1 to UCCX when there was no WAN bandwidth available were routed through PSTN successfully. I have not set any AAR Group and AAR CSS for CTI ports, but the HQ gateway has them. So when I called the UCCX IVR (simpla AA script) through HQ Gateway and dialed the Branch 1 Phones extensions, the call has been routed through PSTN based on CAC restrictions. Well that's ok with CAC. But I cannot understand how the AAR got worked, when neither CTI ports nor the CTI Route Point had any AAR configuration (AAR Mask has been also removed from the CTI RP Line). HQ Gateway had the AAR Group and CSS set. So based on that, UCCX took the HQ gateway setttings of AAR and made a call? ___ For more information regarding industry leading CCIE Lab training, please visit www.ipexpert.com Are you a CCNP or CCIE and looking for a job? [OSL | CCIE_Voice] TEHO tasks: Would you configure local gateway backup?
Hello, In TEHO tasks, do you automatically configure a local backup, if not explicitly stated in the task? E.g Workbook 2 Lab 3 Previously we had configured 911/999, local, LD, international dialing at all sites. The TEHO task reads: Configure Tail End Hopoff wherever possible throughout your UCM cluster for calls to Spain and both sites within the US. The task doesn't explicitly mention having a local gateway as a fallback but would you do so as a matter of course.
