option aside just suggesting it on renewal.
There's an email I don't even remember every how many months, requiring 2
clicks to keep the free subscription active, and that's all

Hello,
Long story short, a while ago I cloned the hd of a Fuel I got given (6.5.16,
original installation from an iconic car designer, Bertone), and all was ok.
The original hd was then left in place but unpowered, the cloned was upgraded
to 6.5.22 to maintain the classic applications. Fast
Watching all the pictures was a really good experience, especially
considering how many of those items I would never have had the chance of
seeing otherwise.

Well, but with dban and/or other certified software the drives are as well as
new. The only issue would be the time/cost to sanitize them in house.

I'm not sure I would use SSD for long term "secure" storage, unless maybe
using enterprise level ones.
Consumer level SSD are, by specifics, guaranteed to retain data for 6 months
if unpowered... any more time means being lucky. Would suck to save, store,
and after some years find the data

I've been told that the temperature sensors on Fuels are subject to get
defective.
Is the same valid for current sensors ?
