I unsuccesfully tried to compile cdrtools-1.10a13 on Alpha with RH6.1. It
comes down to this:
readcd.c(.text+0x1f54): undefined reference to `fileopen64'
There is a lot more of "undefined reference to `fileopen6

We are now only a few releases away from the final libscg-1.0 that includes
SCSI low level command transport.
As this version of cdrtools includes large file aware versions of
mkisofs, readcd and all diag tools from mkisofs, cdrtools now may be used

A reply to myself.
For some reason the disc was not fixated ... even though cdrecord says it's
fixating it (after recording the data track).
Doing a cdrecord dev=0,6,0 -fix solved it.
Thanks anyway.

Wrong: cdda2wav/cdrecord are easier to use.

I also had trouble to filter messages from this list, since it apparently has a
few different post addresses ([EMAIL PROTECTED],

your filtering rule (X-Mailing-List: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ...).

I've a suggestion that I would like to make for the general operation of
this listserver.
If it is possible to configure the listserver to put [cdrecord] (or the
entry of your choice) into the front of the subject line of every message
it sends out, it would make it very easy to filter message
My new question:
I have succesfully burned an audio disc with cdrdao, using the --multi option.
As i understand it, it will allow me to add a new session later.
Now how do i add data in a later session? I tried the following without success.
I ran 'cdrecord -msinfo' to get the magic numbers and
Thanks to all who replied!
It seems that the easiest way to do it is to merge the two TOCs
and use cdrdao to burn the disc with the new TOC.
Since I'm ripping the tracks anyway, I'm not inclined to do it in
any particular way.
I think cdrecord -dao -useinfo *.wav would work equally well, as

How would that preserve the pauses between tracks? It would just set
them all to 2
