Hello,
Been thinking about either purchasing one of these or building my own.
This will be for home use.
I was looking at the QNAP 451+ or building (DYI NAS) one with FreeNAS. I
also found that CentOS has a NAS project.
Not sure which way to go. They would cost about the same. One would be

I found most of it here:

I added the fail2ban rule and modified my postfix main.cf as follows:

Hello,
As some may recall, I suffered a hardware failure of a 10 yr old IBM
Netvista back in January. I was backing up my personal data, 'My Documents',
to my CentOS server but I apparently didn't get my emails.
It was a main board failure and I believe the data is still good on the hard
drive.

Hello,
I am getting low on space in my /(root) partition. I have 23GB free.
I have 350GB in my /home partition. I am the only user.
I was experimenting with virtualization and it causes the root partition to
get very low. I would like to move /var from the root partition, to the same
partition
This is what ipset can do for traffic on a home server that's not wanted on

Hello,
I fixed it real good.
I bought a Lenovo TS130 ThinkServer about 5 or 6 years ago. Folks told me,
RHEL/CentOS would not run on this server.
I bought it and installed it and it works fine.
So, a couple weeks ago, I decided to upgrade the memory. At the time, the
bios only supported 16GB
