The only issue I've seen is that if you are under a "No output but cfoutput"
setting (using cfsetting for example), then the chart will not display
unless you wrap the tags w/ cfoutput tags. This is unlike other CF tags that
generate output like cftable, etc.

CFGraph does not store the graphs. There are templates that are installed
that lay out the basic framework for the graphs. That is the who purpose of
having a dynamic graphing engine, so that you do not have to create and
store the graphs. This is also why you have to have the Jrun server and the

Another question. Can I have a different URL for each item on the graph?
In other words, different drill downs corresponding to the data?

Your url must contain some information to tell it which item was clicked For
example:
The cfgraph tag will add the value of the urlcolumn to the url parameter
resulting in :
fullpic.cfm?backonclose=yes&image_id=#image_id#
for the above example.
If you need even tighter control (
URL tells cfgraph what _base_ URL to use. So, for example, you can do,
URL="display.cfm?ID="
URLColumn tells cfgraph what _value_ to add to the end of the url. So, you
could say, URLColumn="ID", and it would append the value of the ID column to
each link.

u're sending in. Wouldn't it be nice if the tag had an
attribute of "format mask" and possible values of numberformat,
dollarformat, etc.?

You would think though that it was Flash (or Generator) that you wouldn't
That way, you
could pass the raw number into the tag and it could mask it for you.

I assume that you've checked to make sure that the data is a number or can
be convert

For instance,
width = 400, height = 150, itemlabelsize = 26
Produces a very narrow graph (I have five items, from 23 to 100), ie ignores
the width setting.
Changing the font size up increases the graph height rather than reducing
the padding.
