I thought cfhttp would be the correct route, but was
skeptical after reading the man page for it..
If you want to fetch something from another web server, CFHTTP is the only
built-in mechanism for doing so. If you want to save something you've
fetched as a file on your CF server's local file
C:\CFusionMX\bin
C:\CFusionMX\cfx
C:\CFusionMX\CustomTags
C:\CFusionMX\db
C:\CFusionMX\lib
C:\CFusionMX\META-INF
C:\CFusionMX\runtime
C:\CFusionMX\stubs
C:\CFusionMX\wwwroot
I have those dir's in my archive.
should I have any others, that are system specific?
I wouldn't recommend that you
Sorry, I forgot to include this in my other post.

Databases for changes in structure.Ex: New tables, new fields, changes

flpweb is not the CF datasource, per se, though in your set up, it might be.
It's actually the oracle user account.

Subject: Compare files in directories?
Does anyone know of a good,
I'm using cfc's as controllers for my application by setting access=remote and calling the cfc directly from the browser like so-
http://localhost:8500/someApp/someCFC.cfc?method=someFnc
My question to the forum is- if a curious user tries to try typing in some arbitrary method name in the URL,
About the best one I have found was BeyondCompare. However not free.
But not expensive either. I think there is a trial version.

work on MX 6.1
