I have never seen this issue before so I am putting it out there to see if
anyone knows what might be happening..
It seems to be an issue with the cflocation tag. One computer follows it and
the other does not.
Two computers, Windows XP, same version of Internet Explorer
does CFFLUSH appear any where on the page?

Could this be a Cookie issue?
Are you appending your token stuff to the CFLOCATION

No, there's no cfflush's anywhere
However, there are some HTMLHead's in there - Still happens even after they
are removed, however :(
I'm starting to delve into issues with the ISAPI - It's on IIS6 and I am
starting to think that may be a problem. However I have not found much at
this stage.

sure, but what I meant was that, to me the tricky thing about a query is the query itself, not how you run it from x dev language to y DBMS. if he's not migrating to a new db server as well, the sql should be the same. I don't think updating the cfquery/cfqueryparam/quotes... should be that

sigh!
pleze don't start another pissing contest on who's used what
language the longest. it's such a bore!
I suggest if yiu're *really* interested go look it up on wikipedia. I
think CF is a touch older than asp but since there was a really good
interview with Jeremy Allaire covering this,
Have we concluded if its ASP or ASP.Net he needs?

Are the client browsers both within the same network? If not, one could be
going through a proxy that may be having a problem honoring the redirect
that the CFLOCATION causes (some think CFLOCATION sends the users from one
page to another on the server, but instead it causes the server to tell
Hi
I found the issue, it was jrun updater 6:
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=5c9389c8
Jrun updater was installed as there was an excess of error 165 messages
turning up in the runtime logs. Even though MX7 updater 2 was installed
after the jRun installation, it was
Don't think so...
What I think we can conclude is that this is the wrong list if you are looking
for someone who *wants* to work in ASP! ;)

Good tip to share. But shouldn't the two different computers have
experienced the same thing if it was a server problem? Or are you saying
that there were two different servers being tested against?

One thing I have always wondered on this list is why developers limit
themselves to only cfml? Sure cfml is a great language that is easy to
learn but vbscript, php, .Net, jsp, svg, even vrml all have their place in
the development realm - well maybe not vrml anymore. Why not just learn as
much
Hi Rod,
Why not to learn something in addition?
If you are driving a car with automatic transmission, it might be good to
learn how to drive a manual transmission car, while could be useful to learn
how to drive a bus, or even a train, not talking about tank or jet. Anyway
its pretty the same
It was completely random in fact. I don't know the exact details but it
seemed to be linked to sessions; Ie. everything would work well until a
certain point, then after that point relocations would not work for the rest
of the session.
It was possible to have two computers accessing the site,
Hi Dmitry,
So your trying to say there is no point in learning a new language unless
your a guru at it? How does one become at guru at any language (or surgery
for that matter) unless they start learning and using it at the beginner's
level? I'm not quite sure what your trying to say here? My
