All you really need is the serial, so no shipping at all as soon as you

I no longer buy from Australia anymore, for that exact reason. I have a
friend in the states that ships it on to me and with postage it is so much
cheaper than here.
In fact A Current Affair ran a story last week on this, because the fact is
that while most shops profit from the extra cash from

Add me to the list. I've been otherwise engaged and only just caught up
on this. I got a 5 second page load the first time, nicely recorded in

If you can get your hands on an earlier version, an upgrade is even better

Not a 100% fair comparison due to Duty and GST.
PS: People who sell it in AU might think it's bad if you purchase direct
from the US, but in reality this is happening everywhere. People are buying
direct with low freight and a good $AU its very common, and not just for
software.

Believe it or not, it was built by people learning as they go. They

I wonder if buying in Australia has benefits other than price?
I mean, that there's an Adobe Australia office here in Australia, New

dedicated ColdFusion people (eg Mark Blair who put on the recent

Im wondering if its because of the way the images are loaded as
background images via CSS with no width / height specified.
In my testing FF2 / IE7 it looks like they are the last things to
load.

Hi Pat,
OK, so you are seeing the site load very slow as well?
Is it like a 5 second pause and then it all starts to load, or something
else?
I thought most images had a width/height specified, let me double check.
What page are you looking at?

What is the current price on purchasing Coldfusion 8 Standard, from adobe it
is approx $1200 USD but they want $1700 (AUD) which is a rip off when the
conversion rate should bring it down to around $1300 (AUD) approx.

Taco,
Have you run any load testers on the application?
Sounds like it may be a CSS rendering issue maybe? There is a Yahoo
firefox plugin I think that can help with that.

We are now getting the following error on frequent basis ( about 3-5
