you don't get arrested for not wearing shoes on your way to the venue.
unfortunately, some convention centres, and some gate guards, will stop
you coming in without shoes on. once inside you can usually go back to
bare feet without getting in any trouble.

Its the same hotel as last year, so expect to spend a fair bit of time in
the bar ;o) I've definitely noticed that American CF'ers tend to drink more
than Australian CF'ers.
That's one good reason to be staying onsite ;)
From what I hear beer in the US is pretty weak by Australian standards so we
should be able to make a good representation!
