You're right it doesn't mention that you also need the ASP.net stuff, which is also in the same area as IIS add ons. Make sure that you have the ASP.net 3.5 stuff added. But if you install ColdFusion 9.01 you should not need to run the Web Server Config tool, the only reason you would need to do t

The compatibility to IIS 6 is only needed when you install ColdFusion 9. If you don't run the administrator, you can upgrade to ColdFusion 9.01 and then run the Administrator. IIS 7/7.5/8 require that certain features be installed, which are not installed by default. IIS itself of course, and the

I just got a new laptop with Win7 Home Premium and I'm stuck trying to install CF9 Previous experience installing CF9 on Win7 Pro lead me to believe that I should first install using the built in java server then use the web server config tool to connect to IIS7, then I could create a Conly webs
