I built the 32bit version from the latest revision (12th January 2013).

Ah, OK, so you did change the prefix. Well, hmmm

My guess: The self-built version is probably expecti
Hi Miso,
Thanks very much for sharing the 32bit version, it works great here. I was
just double checking on some final steps to compile it for myself when I
saw your reply. I was also going to share my plugin once I had finished
compiling it but you beat me to it. Thanks again!

Hi Glen,
I had a similar issue with the bluebanana.so plugin. It was compiled
for 64bit system, but I have only 32bit. I had to compile it from
sources. So you can try this 32bit version:
http://www.fit.vutbr.cz/~ifapso/download/bluebanana.so
...or compile it directly on your system.
By the way
Hmmm OK,
I think I'm up to the task if you don't mind a few of questions
beforehand... mostly to make sure my head is wrapped around this
sufficiently.
1. Is it best to clone the bluebanana GIT repository right in the
'/plugins' directory of the Cinelerra-CV source tree, will that have

Hi again,
I'm sorry if this ends up double posted, I think i mistakenly replied to
Einar only the first time instead of to the mailing list where Monty would
read it.

Hi Einar, thanks for the reply,
I built and installed this version with '--prefix=/usr' and all the files
were installed to /usr and /usr/lib where you would expect, there is no
'cinelerra' folder in /usr/local/lib. When I run Cinelerra it visibly
scans all other plugins on the system including al
Hmmm,
Having a strange issue with Cinelerra not recognizing the 'bluebanana.so'
plugin file. I downloaded, extracted and copied it to /usr/lib/cinelerra
and ensured that it had the same permissions as the other plugins within
that directory. I restarted Cinelerra and also logged out and retried wi
Monty - brilliant, thank you, the new version works perfectly.
To the person asking for pointers on how to use Blue Banana, I'm not a
professional, so excuse the basic level of my explanation, but the reason I was
thrilled to see it is that now I can do much more delicate colour work. You

Thanks for the report!
It looks like recent versions have added an element right smack in the

OK. Installation was easy.
Fired it up and I realise I need a lesson or three in advanced colour
grading.
It looks powerful, which means a novice really has no idea what is going on!
So any pointers to tutorials and/or notes on how it operates would be
appreciated.
cheers

Wow, thanks Monty, this is aces - the only glitch I've encountered so far is
when I check Mask Selected Areas (top right), it crashes. Either Cinelerra
freezes for about ten seconds before shutting down, or it shuts down
immediately. I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 and I believe I have Cinelerra ins
Monty,
A sincere thanks for all your work on this (and other stuff behind the
scenes of course). It is appreciated that you've also provided a drop-in
version to work with since this is a pretty sophisticated plugin.
I am also using a custom Cin-CV build with your updated overlay, it seems

Hello!
I spent the Christmas break writing a color grading and correction
filter for CV named Blue Banana. A few people on IRC have been trying
it out for about two weeks, and I think it's more or less ready for a
wider audience. I've put some effort into balancing the techniques
used to give in
