This is a new (non-CCNP+) security specialization and will not expire next
month.
You may want to check the archives, I remember some discussion of the
tests/beta tests in the fall of last year. Global Knowledge has detailed
course descriptions that you may want to see. If I recall correctly,
I like the Wenstrom MCNS book a lot. It's something I think most Cisco
professionals should try to get around to.

training providers, "Prerequisites" is a misnomer, "recommended background

respect to CiscoWorks2000, also the test is retiring in May, but the CCNP
Specialization in Network Management retired last week, according to my
