[c-nsp] OTV between couple of CSRs 1000v and dot1q TAG rewriting

2015-08-31 Thread Andrei Kozlov
Hello everyone. I have couple of CSRs 1000v which can reach each other via IP network. 1st CSR is in datacenter LEFT and 2nd CSR is in datacenter RIGHT. Site interfaces of CSRs are dot1q trunks. A task is to extend broadcast segment between data centres using OTV feature, considering that dot1q

Hi Andrei, Your vlan tag rewrite configuration is correct. I would look for the problem elsewhere, though I would recommend getting working L2 connectivity on either side with equivalent tags before adding re-write into the mix. You can use*show otv vlan* to verify each overlay interface is

[c-nsp] Multihoming

Greetings, Was interested in getting any pointers anyone might have about multihoming. I've got an ASN and am working on a /24 from ARIN now. I was thinking about a pair of Cisco 3560's one for each provider and I was going to take default routes from each, one with a higher metric and

Hello Jason. You can do BGP and multihoming on Cat 3560 since you got 2 byte AS number, with 4 byte AS number you won’t. > 31 авг. 2015 г., в 21:43, Jason Berenson > написал(а): > > Greetings, > > Was interested in getting any pointers anyone might have about

Justin, You're right, a 4-byte ASN on the 3560's won't work. I might see if ARIN will reassign me a 2-byte ASN instead. If not, I'll have to go with something like a 28XX software based router and a pair of 2960G's for switches. I was just hoping to do it all in two boxes instead of 4.

[c-nsp] vs Cisco 6800 with sup2t and HP NodeManager

Hi all This might be a bit off topic, but I'll try anyway. Has anyone experienced something like this. I'll installed a new HP NodeManager 10. and every time the NNM does a rediscover, then snmp demon off 6800 vith sup 2T stops answering for up to 30 min . /Arne
