the default route to another provider.
That's not exactly what you need, but with a bit of tweaking you can change
it to suit your needs.

Hi,
I have the following scenario
ISP --- link A -- CE
link B -
I have a lot of voice traffic on this backhaul.. The problem is that when a
circuit has problems in terms of (errors incrementing) but circuit doesnt go
down at all, ospf is stable but voice is not reliable
List,
I am currently working on some QoS model to handle SAP packets, apparently
someone before me tried a police to mark things coming from CITRIX protocol.
Is there a more specific way to match SAP packets? Does anyone have
experience with that? I am trying to be more specific than match

Hi,
BGP can load-balance but doesnt not scale/converge well and fast as a strong
IGP such as OSPF.
What is the need to run BGP ? ask yourself? Are you becoming an AS or is
just because you've heard people set up multihome using BGP?
If this is not the case, you can always conference the 3 ISP
Dovid,
Since your company already owns an AS , external consulting would probably
be the best way to go. Dealing with BGP sometimes can be tricky and needs a
lot of knowledge, it can be very dangerous for a CCNA to try to set this up
like a lab.
But I strongly recommend you these 2 books, so you
Could you please provide more information about it? I am very interested on
getting to know about those things.
Thank you!!

Alessandro,
You can build a tunnel between the CE's sourcing the mpls cloud as the path,
set up ospf as the IGP protocol, increase the costs accordidngly on both
interfaces(Tunnel and backdoor link) to your needs and you will have the
desired result.

Guys,
Why ospf takes so long to load when labbing on dynamips? Particulary in lan
segments it almost takes forever ,if anyone has any method to improve the
convergence time, I would love to hear it!

Hi,
I've been asked to design a storage solution where I work (which is a ISP),
I have been considering using one of the 2 equipments
- Cisco MDS 9148 Multilayer Fabric Switch
- Cisco MDS 9222i Multiservice Modular Switch
Could anyone with experience/knowledge point out the difference between
Whatever config I make, it does not work. Some people here got the point,
some are still thinking I am missing stuff somewhere..
anyway, I not using GNS3 but Dynagen. I am loading up 14 devices and on gns3
this usually crashes, the only stable way I found on loading, it was using
dynagen, but
Guys,
Anyone knows how to solve this on dynamips? (router with lan switch
connection) - I thought that setting
speed auto would solve it.

Guys,
why no one read the 'dynamis' word on the subject? this is a particular
issue being experienced on a 3725 being used as a switch on DYNAMIPS... it
just doesnt work...

Guys,
I am studying MPLS vpn stuff and it came across some new stuff of mpls, but
this one is not quite clear for me yet, the domain-tag. I had an
idea that somehow is used to prevent redistributed routes that originated
from the MPLS backbone from returning via some other location on the MPLS

Hi Group,
A doubt/curiosity, what happens in a router that you are setting up IGP's ,
and you dont hardcode the router-id, thus
it will look for an IPv4 address to use as a router-id, but what if I dont
have any IPv4 address configured? Where will
it come from?
Rgs,

iDirect is a good technology, agred with Terry. Besides, they offer great
courses to give training for the staff in US - Virginia.

I second Terry, we have good experience with iDirect too.
Can't tell much about Hughes, don't know their products at all.
