Hi Shabbar,
What is the CUCM version?
So the users go into Inactive mode every 6 hours? Or once everyday? If
once, what time does that happen and is that during a sync?
Have you taken a look at the DirSync logs during the period of failure?
What about a packet capture to see if this could be an
Hi,
Maybe one of the Cisco folk will chime in..
I'm seeing an occassional backup failure every few weeks on UCCX
9.0(2) SU1 where there is a JSCH exception and UCCX can't connect to
the SFTP server.
There was a bug in CUCM and we upgraded CUCM which resolved this
issue, but I am not seeing this

Shabbar,
Sounds like the LDAP Manger Distinguished User or the LDAP search base is
acting strangely. Have you made any OU/permisison changes in AD?
Try using a new/different distinguished manager user in the LDAP directory
configuration. Also, are you using any custom filters?
Thanks,
Ryan
Is your new 2012 AD server virtualized? How is the time synchronization
between CUCM and AD?

Before I go down the road of re-creating the wheel, has anyone written a
nice front end to the postgresql database for simple reports for a customer?
While pgadmin will do the trick, a non-technical person will struggle with
getting reports out as needed.
I'm thinking about a simple search for
Hi Charles,
I got a super simple front end written in PHP running on the same LAMP stack
the the PostGreSQL database is running on (benefit of being a former

persistent chat messages and p 2 p messages. The code is

I am running a fully AD integrated 9.1.2 CUCM with IMPresence 9.1.2 and I have
the Cisco Jabber for Windows 10.5 client deployed and I have URI Dialing
running in the Jabber client, ALL. DAY. LONG and it works flawlessly.
In the deployment docs, it says to use EnableSIPUriDialing

In case you haven't checked it already, documentation indicates AD 2012 isn't
support with CUCM v9.1.

I saw some posts back from this summer with UCCX 10 connected with CUCM 8.6. Is

I believe support for 8.6 was pulled due to database issues. Check threads from
Ryan I think he was the one that posted.

Option 2 is going to be the best. You just need to use the same tokens.
You also need to re-run the CTL Client pointed at the original cluster and
add the new TFTP servers to the CTL. If you don't do that, the phones
won't trust the new cluster no matter what. Do the same thing on the new
cluster
Hi All,
We originally had it as compatible, but there was a defect on CUCM in AXL that
prevented UCCX from integrating. CUCM wasn’t going to fix this bug in a 8.6
branch at the time and we also determined that supporting 8.6 on UCCX 10.x
violated the N-1, N+1 compatibility that we typically
Andy,
I do Telepresence frequently so I know where you're coming from. Licensing
should've been in the conversation from the beginning. Neither VCS or CUCM will
provide that call control without some sort of license. You'll need TP Room
Licensing for those endpoints registering to CUCM.
