Great John
I hope your counts are good on your next check up. This is the first time my
onc has used ponatinib so I guess we will play it by ear. Have you always had
to get your blood checked so often?
Good to hear from you.

Haven't posted for a week or so, but I have been monitoring the site. Sherri,
you said it is getting warmer in Northern Illinois and the snow is beginning to
melt. I guess you are planning on sending it down to us in Southern Illinois.

Hi Yes Mostly every two weeks since I have been on ponatinib as I seem to be
sensitive to it. On doses like three a week my counts go down quickly and I
would probably go on weekly basis until they get to low point. am receiving
ponatinib on compassionate grounds as I do not have the mutation
Greenie, how are you doing? Please let us know what the tests showed. Thinking
of you. and Jeanie, three months in...good for you. Thank God for Ponatinib. I
just wish your side effects would abate some for you. You are a real
trouper..glad you can watch your flowers grow! Take good care. Beth

Have you had your colonoscopy Greenie? Let us know the results if you have
them.
It's about the only test I haven't had.

Hi Sherri.
The weather is great here in fl. Spring has sprung with blossoms all over the
yard. This is my favorite time of the year. I also roam around my yard every
day and the fragrance of the blooms is heavenly.
Time to order my third refill for ponatinib. I believe it's working good;

Hi Jeanie. Yes I am off ponatinib until I see my onc next Wednesday. If my
counts go up I will be back on two pills a week. Sorry to hear of your ear
problems. The snow is pretty well gone now but it is still a little cool. To
think that spring is a week away. John

Hi Jeanie, yes I had it yesterday afternoon and everything is O. K..But
when the nurse tried to give me the IV in my upper arm, I don't do the top

the blood was running down my arm onto the floor and I'm ready to
Hi Greenie and thanks for the update. I have the same problems with ivs. I
dread them more than the procedures. Yes my nephew had breast cancer but it's
probably a cyst. Glad you came through it all good. The nurse that put in my
last IV was the best. It didn't even leave a blue spot.
