Gleevec has a big history of muscle cramps, especially in the hands and the
legs. Gleevec also has side affects that include skin that is thin, white
rings around the eyes, water retention around the eyes to name just a few.
I moved from Gleevec to Sprycel years ago and all the Gleevec issues

Just a note about muscle wasting and the TKI's. While they affect each of us
differently, there is a clear connection between these meds and muscle wasting,
cramping as well with Gleevec, sprycel and others. so, Nick is not alone...you
might want to ask his doc to do a CPK blood
We're happy to hear you're on the mend, Marty. It's been good to read other
persons updates in their lives of CML and family changes, etc. Sending
sympathy to those whose family members have died within the past few months.

Thanks so much Sherri. I'll give it to Barbara. Yes Marty gives us great
uplifts. Millie also did the same. It took a long time for me to get use to
not having her sweet uplifts but to live is to die and that is why every day is
so important. Faith and pills is my motto.
