FWIW I wouldn’t lean toward a 26 or 27 with out looking into the 30 that was offered first. If the 30 has been maintained and is any where close to sail away condition it will be cheaper in the long run and a better boat from the get go. If you like having a boat you are also less likely to

Dan You should have a plug which allows you to remove the transducer with the boat in the water. Simple process of pulling the transducer and inserting the plug. If done quickly, you might let 2 cups of water in. Will need a person spinning the paddle and one looking at the instrument. Ed Levert
