So if the first boat named TARDIS, as there was only one TARDIS, shouldn't all the rest with that name be renamed RETARDIS? Asking for a friend. Doug Mountjoy  sv Rebecca Leah C & C Landfall 39Port Orchard Yacht Club Port Orchard, WA Original message From: Neil Andersen via

I admit that I had to Google it, after which I was amazed at: a) how many boats have this name, and b) how badly my memory is slipping, as I used to watch the show a lot... -- Shawn Wright shawngwri...@gmail.com S/V Callisto, 1974 C 35 https://www.facebook.com/SVCallisto On Thu, Sep 30, 2021 at

We are with Skippers plan (Aviva) and have been for years. They covered us for the first 2 years while we were living in the US, and no issues when we returned to Canada. I deal with Drew Robertson, let me know if you need more info. Paul From: Doug Robinson

We were with Royal Sun Alliance (RSA) for a number of years. We did have a claim and they were very good to deal with. Used to have a three pay system where you were billed three times per year but they stopped doing that./ this was the only reason we moved on to Intact Mike Hoyt Persistence

Great read! Interesting how many of the boxes our 35 also ticks on your "get real" list, which is very similar to a list I would write. The 3 burner stove/oven, for example, is a must - we often use all 3 burners, and the oven to make bread and pizza, but it's amazing how many newer, larger boats

I was just about to ask that very question. If cleaning in the water would be as good or better than power washing. My bottom paint is laid up in 3 coats. two coats of blue and the final coat in black. This allows me to simply touch up the bottom rather than building up the coats as many do.
